Incubator Q&A

Welcome to the staging ground for new communities! Each proposal has a description in the "Descriptions" category and a body of questions and answers in "Incubator Q&A". You can ask questions (and get answers, we hope!) right away, and start new proposals.

Are you here to participate in a specific proposal? Click on the proposal tag (with the dark outline) to see only posts about that proposal and not all of the others that are in progress. Tags are at the bottom of each post.

I created the communities proposal, and I just wanted to add IMO this is exactly the sort of question that should be in it. Not sure why there's downvotes, too bad they didn't leave a comment...

Of course, just because I originally made the proposal, doesn't give me any sort of special status for judging question quality. I'm just clarifying wrt what I originally intended with my proposal.

It would be useful if anyone with an opinion (whether a downvoter or not) could indicate whether they object to recommendation questions in general (in which case we can have a Meta discussion to find community consensus) or object to this particular recommendation question. For example, if you think recommendation questions are fine but should have certain minimum requirements, please let us know.
