Welcome to the staging ground for new communities! Each proposal has a description in the "Descriptions" category and a body of questions and answers in "Incubator Q&A". You can ask questions (and get answers, we hope!) right away, and start new proposals.
Are you here to participate in a specific proposal? Click on the proposal tag (with the dark outline) to see only posts about that proposal and not all of the others that are in progress. Tags are at the bottom of each post.

Technically, chat-GPT (GPT-3.5) is also freely accessible via https://chat.openai.com Possible alternatives are: - TII's [Falcon](https://falconllm.tii.ae/) - LAION's [Open Assistant](https://open-assistant.io/) - Mosaic's [MPT](https://www.mosaicml.com/blog/mpt-7b) - Google's [Bard](https://bard.google.com/) - Anthropic's [Claude-2](https://claude.ai) - Meta's [LLama 2](https://ai.meta.com/llama/) - ... This list is probably incomplete, especially if we want to consider all possible open-source models that have been inspired by one of these models. I haven't checked the status of these websites, but most of these models should have published their weights or at least provide free(mium) access. Note that these models do not quite attain the same performance as GPT-4. However, their performance should be good enough for a variety of practical applications.
