We would like to have more and more-active communities, but we don't just want to create a bunch of communities and hope people will use them. (Some of our early ones have failed to thrive.) This is why we created this Proposals site.
There is a proposal for a chemistry community. It's being followed by at least one expert, but currently has no questions. Do you have chemistry questions? Please ask real questions (that you would ask on a chemistry community) in Incubator Q&A so we can build up a body of content to build a community around. And meanwhile, people can answer your questions so you don't have to wait. And if you can answer questions, you can start sharing your knowledge right away.
