Incubator Q&A

Welcome to the staging ground for new communities! Each proposal has a description in the "Descriptions" category and a body of questions and answers in "Incubator Q&A". You can ask questions (and get answers, we hope!) right away, and start new proposals.

Are you here to participate in a specific proposal? Click on the proposal tag (with the dark outline) to see only posts about that proposal and not all of the others that are in progress. Tags are at the bottom of each post.

How do I add a consent management platform that has been certified by Google to my website?
I recently received and email from Google AdSense that says:

> Starting later this year, Google will requiring all publishers to use a Consent Management Platform (CMP) that has been certified by Google and has integrated with the IAB's Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) when serving ads to users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK).

My website serves content to uses around the world, including in the EU. I would like to be able to show ads to those users.

This email uses a lot of jargon. I've never heard of CMP, TCF, IAB, or EEA before this. I'm worried that this could be complicated or expensive.

What changes am I going to need to make to my site?
