Welcome to the staging ground for new communities! Each proposal has a description in the "Descriptions" category and a body of questions and answers in "Incubator Q&A". You can ask questions (and get answers, we hope!) right away, and start new proposals.

Are you here to participate in a specific proposal? Click on the proposal tag (with the dark outline) to see only posts about that proposal and not all of the others that are in progress. Tags are at the bottom of each post.

Incubator Q&A should be the default landing page for Proposals

"Incubator Q&A" should be the default landing page when users go to proposals.codidact.com.

The idea here is that whenever you propose a site, you can post some questions (and answers) to Incubator Q&A as examples of what type of content the proposed site will have. Not only does this help people discuss the topic without waiting for the sometimes length new site process, but it's also a great way to bootstrap new communities.

By that logic, I would expect that when proposal do get approved, they will have accumulated quite a few questions - maybe dozens or more. Therefore, users of Proposals would be visiting the Incubator Q&A section more and more often than the Proposals section.

For this reason, the web flow should follow dominant usage, and https://proposals.codidact.com/ should send users directly to Incubator Q&A by default.
