Welcome to the staging ground for new communities! Each proposal has a description in the "Descriptions" category and a body of questions and answers in "Incubator Q&A". You can ask questions (and get answers, we hope!) right away, and start new proposals.
Are you here to participate in a specific proposal? Click on the proposal tag (with the dark outline) to see only posts about that proposal and not all of the others that are in progress. Tags are at the bottom of each post.
Why was the codidact proposals down all day
I tried to post a question on worldbuilding and after I found I wasn't able to get into the site. I kept getting redirected to page telling me that codidact proposals was unavailable and it even told me that the site itself was the issue. It was like that most of the day and I don't know if anyone else noticed or had a similar issue. If anyone knows what happened and/or why I would like to know.

In a nutshell... Cloudflare.
To give a little more detail, it looks like Cloudflare's anti-AI scraper tool went a bit off the deep end and decided to block our frontend from accessing the backend, as far as I understand, reading the chat logs. That's been mitigated and hopefully won't be a problem again.
Cloudflare has been a little trigger-happy lately, so we'll probably take a closer look at what it's been blocking recently and evaluate how we'll be using it in the future, but that's a job for those a bit more technical than me.

Thanks for reporting this.
All Codidact communities, including Codidact Proposals, were unavailable for most of yesterday. This has now been fixed, but you weren't able to raise this until after it had been fixed, which is a problem. Most Codidact communities have a link to chat in the right hand panel. Codidact does not yet have its own chat system, so the link currently goes to Discord. People on other Codidact communities were able to report the problem on Codidact's Discord, even while Codidact was unavailable. However, here on Proposals the link to chat is not present.
I expect this is unintentional, so I have raised the lack of a link to chat on Codidact Meta.
