Welcome to the staging ground for new communities! Each proposal has a description in the "Descriptions" category and a body of questions and answers in "Incubator Q&A". You can ask questions (and get answers, we hope!) right away, and start new proposals.
Are you here to participate in a specific proposal? Click on the proposal tag (with the dark outline) to see only posts about that proposal and not all of the others that are in progress. Tags are at the bottom of each post.

- Place a tile on each face of a [regular tetrahedron](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regular_tetrahedron) so that the arcs on the tiles form a single closed loop.
- You may rotate the tiles provided they align with the triangular faces of the tetrahedron.
- There are 4 identical tiles:

- Here is a net of a tetrahedron to arrange the tiles on:

- ## Printing
Each image can be opened in a separately tab (which will display the tiles at exactly the right size to place on the net) to allow printing so you can experiment or photograph your solution.- [tiles]: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/trichoplax/closed-loop-on-tetrahedron-puzzle/refs/heads/main/tetrahedron-tiles.svg

Closed loop on a tetrahedron
Place a tile on each face of a [regular tetrahedron](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regular_tetrahedron) so that the arcs on the tiles form a single closed loop. You may rotate the tiles provided they align with the triangular faces of the tetrahedron. There are 4 identical tiles: [![4 triangular tiles each with an arc joining the centres of 2 of their edges][tiles]][tiles] Here is a net of a tetrahedron to arrange the tiles on: [![4 triangular faces that can fold into a regular tetrahedron][tetrahedron net]][tetrahedron net] ## Printing Each image can be opened in a separately tab (which will display the tiles at exactly the right size to place on the net) to allow printing so you can experiment or photograph your solution.
