In the diagram below, the number five is made up of 5 identical line segments.

Reposition the line segments so the number five appears 5 times.

You are not allowed to do anything except moving the line segments.

My solution

All five lines positioned so that their centres are on top of each other and rotated by different multiples of 72 degrees

ExplanationThis works by using the Roman numeral V for five. There are ten "simple" Vs formed by each half-line and its clockwise neighbour, and I would argue also for ten additional Vs formed by each half-line and its next-but-one clockwise neighbour.

I was thinking among these lines too but then how wide is said numeral allowed to be to still count as a five? As in how wide angles would be acceptable typographically? I'm not sure where to find an answer to that question...
