Laser rangefinder does not adjust main gun on BMP-3
When I use the laser rangefinder (default, L1+X), it's supposed to automatically adjust the gun targeting such that the range is in line with that of the target. That's also been my experience with every vehicle I've used until the BMP-3. The laser rangefinder only adjusts the 30mm 2A72 autocannon (primary armament, main calibre gun in controls scheme) and the 7.62mm PKT machine gun (machine gun in control scheme), but not the 100mm 2A70 cannon (primary armament, secondary gun in controls scheme). According to many posts I've found online, the LRF is supposedly the tool that makes the low-velocity HE shells from the 100mm deadly at range, so apparently it's supposed to be adjusted by it. Then why isn't it adjusted in my case, and how do I fix it?
